Annotation
In the first story, Celaena Sardothien and Sam Cortland were sent to Skull's Bay to retrieve a debt from Captain Rolfe, The Lord of Pirates. When she found out that the debt was to be paid not by money, but by slaves, she destroyed half of the Island with Sam to save 200 slaves. She forced Rolfe to sign a contract and returned to Assassin's keep empty handed and was later punished brutally for it.
The second story is about a healer named Yrene Towers. Celaena Sardothien is being sent to Red Desert to train with Silent Assassins as punishment after disobeying her master's order. She was waiting for a ship to Yerpa in an inn, when she saved Yrene Towers, the barmaid of the inn from some drunk mercenaries. Later she taught her some basic self defense and vanished in the cold dark night, leaving a bag of gold coins and a letter for the barmaid.
The third is about Celaena Sardothien and the Silent Assassins of the Red Desert. This story is about new found friendship and heartbreak and treachery and second chances. To return to the keep, Celaena needs a letter written by the master of Silent Assassins and she have to earn the letter by honing her skills and satisfy the master by her training. Here she meets a girl named Ansel of Briercliff and befriend her. An attack is planned on the master and the prince by someone every Silent Assassin cares about. Can she stop it or she will be stuck in the crossfire?

She killed the man but later discovered that he was a good man. Sam tells her that he is in love with her for a long time and she perceives that she has the same feelings for him. Will there story move ahead or will it come to an end?
In the last Novella, Celaena Sardothien gains and loses everything she ever wanted and now she must pay the price of her deeds with the death of her beloved Sam. Arobryn Hamel asked a lot of amount to free them both. Sam and Celaena decide to take a near impossible project. To kill Ioan Jane and his ruthless right hand man Rourke Farran. As they plot to assassin these men, Sam books passage to the southern continent for both of them. Later Sam goes to kill Farran and Celaena is restless because he is not back at decided time. She searches for him, but instead finds Arobryn Hamel in her apartment. He tells her about Sam's death. She decides to take revenge and breakes into Jane's penthouse. My Review:
I like this story of her as an assassin but she can and will hone herself as we go further in the series. (Spoiler) She met Prince of Adarlan accidentally but didn't realize who he is!!!
Join the Pieces..😏😏
